The School Council plays an important role in supporting the continued growth and improvement of our school. Working collaboratively with the principal, council members provide valuable perspectives and guidance to help establish educational goals and identify the academic and developmental needs of students. The council also makes recommendations related to the school’s curriculum accommodation plan, ensuring that programs and supports are responsive to the needs of all learners.

In addition, the School Council participates in the review of the annual school budget and assists in the development of the School Improvement Plan. By bringing together different voices from the school community, the council helps identify priorities, evaluate areas for growth, and support initiatives that strengthen teaching, learning, and the overall student experience.
