Any Hadley resident child who will be 5 years old by August 31, 2025 is eligible for registration.
In order to register, you must bring the following:
- Completed STUDENT ENROLLMENT FORM 2025-2026 (.pdf below)
- Documentation proving date of birth (Click here for the complete list of acceptable documents.)
- Documents which establish residency (Click here for the complete list of acceptable documents.)
- Photo ID of parent/guardian: Valid driver’s license/photo ID card, valid passport, other government issued photo ID.
- Health Record – Immunization records & proof of a recent physical exam (within the past 12 months). (Click here to visit our Health Services webpage for more information about immunization requirements.)
- Current Individual Education Plan (IEP) or 504 documents, if applicable
- Proof of Physical Custody, if applicable
These enrollment requirements include resident students currently enrolled in Hadley Preschool who will be attending Kindergarten in the Fall.

Kindergarten Visitation – Please call the office if you are interested in a tour of our building!
We would like your child to join us for a visit during this time to spend a little time seeing the classrooms. Please call our office at (413) 584-5011. For children enrolled in Hadley Preschool – Students “stepping up” to kindergarten will visit the class during the school day.
Kindergarten Email – mid-August 2025
You will receive an email notifying you about your child’s teacher, the times for bus pick up, etc.
Trial Bus Run – August 26, 2025
On one of the days before the first day of school, kindergarten students will be picked up and brought to school for about 30 minutes and then returned home. This bus run will give kindergarten students a chance to become familiar with the school bus, the bus drivers, and the bus route before they ride with the older students. Our bus coordinator will contact you directly with information about trial bus run late-August.
First Day of School – Wednesday, August 27, 2025 for all students in Grades K-6.
Please note that the first week of school for Kindergarten will half day dismissal @11:15 am. Screening appointments will be held in the afternoon. Teachers will be in touch with families to schedule.
