Principal April A. Camuso has been a dedicated member of the Hadley Public Schools community since 2008. Throughout her time in the district, she has served in a variety of leadership and instructional roles, including English teacher, English Department Chair, Head Teacher, and Director of Curriculum. In the summer of 2020, she became Principal of Hopkins Academy.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Camuso holds a B.A. in English, an M.A. in English and Teaching, and a CAGS in Reading. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. through the College of Education\u2019s Education Policy, Research, and Administration program at UMass Amherst.<\/p>\n
Beyond the classroom, Mrs. Camuso has supported and advised a variety of student programs and initiatives, including Peer Mentors, the Gender Equity Task Force, and International Travel. She is committed to creating a welcoming, supportive school community where students feel known, valued, and encouraged to succeed.<\/p>\n
