Biography:
I was born and raised in Montague Massachusetts. I graduated from Turners Falls High School in 1998 and went on to get my Bachelors in History from UMass in 2002 and my Masters of Education in 2005. I have been teaching Social Studies and English at Hopkins ever since.
Teaching Philosophy:
When it comes to education I am firm believer that every student can succeed at in History and English. I often hear that students find history boring and that is unfortunate, because I have the opposite feeling. I see my job as a teacher as educating students how to be learners and that history is not only important, but incredibly interesting and fun. Even if they still find the topics it boring, I at least try to make the process of learning them fun.
