Seed Planters in 1900
In 1900 seed planters in Hadley were more complex. They still had two wheels, but the wheels were used to do part of the job. On 1900 seeders there were blades on the bottom, which made rows in the dirt for the seeds. Then a bucket would drop seeds in the rows. The two big wheels would then flatten the rows and fill in the holes. Fast and strong horses were used for pulling seeders by this time. By 1900, seed planters were made in factories. Since they were bigger than the 1800 seeders, they used more metal.
